On October 20 in school № 96 passed 2 seminars of professional orientation of students «Environmentalist as a lifestyle». Methodist in ecological education of Training Center – Tatyana Guguyeva and the student of Samara State Academy of Social Sciences and Humanities – Elena Samarina told to the students about the ecological professions.
Tatyana told to children about the project and its directions, presented slide-show about ecological professions, and invited school students to participate in new competition of multimedia of advertizing on the subject of ecological professions.
Then the word was transferred to Elena who acted with presentation about activity of the director of a shelter for animals. Not a secret that the profession of the head of a shelter for animals not only is important, but also is very actual the last decades. Elena told about the Samara shelters for homeless animals, how catching of animals is prospected also and that occurs to them in a shelter: they pass what processing and vaccination.
Also it was mentioned that in the developed countries are engaged in this problem for a long time, for example in America there is a special society on protection of the rights of animals – the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Anywhere in the developed countries you will not meet rack of dogs or uncountable domestic cats and it is correct not only from the point of view of the humane relation to animals, but also from the ecological point of view: it is less than diseases, epidemics, environmental pollution.
Seminars were held in the framework of professional orientation of students «Environmentalist as a lifestyle». 34 students of 6 and 11 classes took part in it. Professional orientation of students «Environmentalist as a lifestyle» is supported by the Alcoa Foundation.
